OFD chrome plated liners feature a chrome-plated outer liner, in lieu of a sleeve, for maximum thickness. These liners have an inner surface that is plated with a layer of chromium to increase their wear resistance. The liner is machined and polished to a mirror like finish.
Chrome-plated liners are commonly used in applications where abrasion resistance is essential.
